1st EPAL of Piraeus is located in Kaminia, a well known neighborhood of Piraeus, a few kilometers away from the biggest Greek port (Piraeus), quite close to Peace and Friendship stadium and just across the Karaiskakis stadium (home stadium of Olympiakos team). The building used to be the first textile school in Greece created by the relative industry in order to educate the laborers the last one needed. Later on the building was donated to Ministry of Education in order to work as a vocational school.
Today three vocational schools are housed in this building, that operate from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm. Almost 60 teachers work in 1st EPAL of Piraeus and almost 400 pupils attend the 8:00am-2:00pm school curriculum. The departments of technician and vocational courses that operate are: Mechanical Engineers-Car Engineers-Air Conditioning-Heating-Regrigeration, Electronics, Electrical Installation, Structure, Financing and Management, Tourism Management, IT: Informatics and Networking, Food Technology and Agricultural Field. There are well equipped laboratories (for which the collaborating school unit, 2nd EK of Piraeus, is responsible), all over the building for every specialization, where the students practice and deepen their understanding of new knowledge. The school mission, utilizing community engagement, is to cultivate the environment that will facilitate creative activity, educate and prepare the next generation to meet the needs of the challenging time we live in.

The Maria Sklodowska-Curie School Complex in Dialoszyn includes a three-year secondary high school (lyceum), a four year vocational high school (electronic, IT and engineering technical schools) and a three-year basic vocational school. In IT anh ICT schools our students learn such subjects as : structural and objective programming, multimedia and computer graphics, operating systems, office software.We have been participating in such educational programs like Leonardo da Vinci, Comenius and Erasmus+.Our school wants to prepare our students well for their further education or job. Our teachers and students want to get new contacts and undertake new tasks which will allow them to raise their professional qualifications and skills.
